Kay was born August 22, 1918 on the family farm in the Rural Municipality of Grayson No. 184. Kay started school at Larson School south of Dubuc, SK. Card of Thanks

Words cannot express our thanks for all the love and support we received since Dylan’s passing. We are only blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Thank-you to everyone that sent food, cards, hugs and kind words during this difficult time. A very special thank-you to Kevin Prince for making Dylan’s urn. This meant so much to us. Thank-you to Father Raymond Lukie for the comforting service and to the St. Gerard’s Church for the lovely lunch. The staff at Christie’s Funeral Home.... Your kindness and support will never be forgotten. Thank-you. Thank-you to Dylan Johnson and everyone who attended the get-together at the campground, in Dylan’s memory. Also, thank-you to Stephen and Ericka Brick for donating the Boston Bruins jersey for everyone to sign - we will cherish this forever. To Dylan’s wonderful friends that constructed the monument... you are all very special to us. Lots of Love to You. We visit often. Thank-you to Chad and Tanner for being the cross bearers and to Brianna and Mike for reading the epistle in church. A huge thank-you to the Churchbridge Fire & Rescue and Local 771 Ironworkers Brotherhood for the Honour Guard, as well as to Ferne Katzberg for playing the bag pipes. Darren Blazeiko... Thank- you for making the slide show presentation in memory of Dylan. You did an awesome job! Many thanks to everyone that made donations to the Churchbridge Arena “Chiller” Project. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Dylan loved being at the rink. We are over- whelmed by everyone that took part in the balloon release. Love You All! We ask that you keep Dylan’s memory alive. Dylan has gone fishing.

-Love and peace!Dianne and Ashley Berg

PLAN NUMBER 1-3-663

A T T R A C T I V E FAMILY HOME

An unfinished base-ment is included in the plans for this attractive family home, designed so the two-vehicle garage, laundry room and a covered entry are set at an angle from the main building and form a par-tial courtyard.

The front door is protected by a porch, always welcome in bad weather, and leads into a spacious foyer. A coat closet is ahead and to the left, opposite the stair-

way to the basement. To the right are two display cases, ideal for collect-ibles.

Directly ahead, through a squared arch-way, the great room fea-tures a fireplace and sliding doors to the part-ly-covered sundeck. The dining area is tucked into a niche with large win-dows that also look out to the sundeck.

The kitchen is separat-ed from the dining area and great room by a work island. Natural light will come in through the win-dow above the double sink, and the L-shaped

counter configuration will save steps for the cook. A roomy walk-in pantry will provide always-welcome extra storage space.

The laundry room is conveniently close to the kitchen and across the corridor from a powder room. Nearby is an entry-way with a handy closet, adjacent to the double garage, which includes another doorway on the opposite side.

In the sleeping wing, the master bedroom is located at the back of the home for privacy, and includes a walk-in clos-

et as well as a spacious ensuite with double basins and a soaker tub, as well as a shower stall.

The second and third bedrooms share a three-piece bath. The third bedroom overlooks the front garden and enjoys an extra-deep sill that would make a cozy win-dow seat.

Ceilings on the main floor all measure nine feet.

Exterior finishes include stucco, painted pilasters with cut-stone bases, and board-and-batten accents in the gables. Decorative garage doors and paint-ed trim add a touch of elegance.

This home measures 78 feet, six inches wide by 72 feet, nine inches deep.

Plans for design 1-3-663 are available for $835(set of 5), $900 (set of 8) and $952 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $35.00 for Priority courier charges within B.C. or $65.00 out-side of B.C. Please add 5% G.S.T. or 13% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and postage charges.

Our NEW 48TH Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 400 plans is avail-able for $15.50 (includes taxes, postage and han-dling). Make all cheque and money orders pay-able to “JENISH HOUSE DESIGN LTD” and mail to:

Winter in summer

Unchecked, tent caterpillars, the larval stage of the North American Moth, can devastate trees, such as these completely denuded examples at Wiggly Field, Yorkton’s offleash dog park. The caterpillar infestation in Yorkton and the prov-ince was particularly significant this year due to the mild winter and hot, early spring. Outbreaks generally occur every 10 to 15 years and last three to six years. The Ministry of Agriculture indicates this might be the second year in an infestation cycle.

The Government of Saskatchewan has entered into a Multilateral Agreement Respecting Pooled Registered Pension Plans and Voluntary Retirement Savings Plans.

Pooled Registered Pension Plans (PRPPs) are professionally admin-istered, defined contribu-tion style pension plans targeted to employees and self-employed indi-viduals who previously did not have access to a

workplace pension plan.“Pooled Registered

Pension Plans will pro-vide Saskatchewan workers with another option to save money for retirement,” Justice Minister and Attorney General Gordon Wyant said. “These plans will be very accessible and will be offered at a low cost to plan mem-bers. I am pleased that Saskatchewan is able to be part of a multilateral agreement which will pave the way for employ-ers to set up a pooled registered pension plan for their employees.”

The agree-ment between the Governments of Canada, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Quebec and Nova Scotia, and the Autorité des marchés financiers will sim-plify the licensing and registration process for PRPPs, making it easier for them to be offered.

The new savings tool is a voluntary, large-scale type of pension plan that pools contribu-tions from employees of many different employ-ers together to achieve lower costs for invest-ment management and plan administration. A corporation which holds a licence issued by the federal government will be able to sell PRPPs to Saskatchewan residents without having to get a licence here.

PRPP administrators are responsible for the design and operation of each PRPP. Once an employer has joined a PRPP, its employees will be enrolled (with the option to opt out) so they can take advantage of the retirement savings option.

New Pension Plans give more choice
