On Sunday, November 4, 2012, theBrunswick Harley Owners Group(HOG) will hold its 14th Annual Toysfor Tots Benefit Ride to raise fundsand gather toys for the MarineCorps’ Toys for Tots Program.Registration begins at 10AM atBrunswick Harley Davidson, 1130Hoosick Road, Troy, NY. A guidedparade of bikes, with police escortwill take place at Noon. The parade will travel down Routes 7and 142, through Lansingburgh, Waterford, Crescent,Halfmoon, Niskayuna, Schenectady and end up at the MarineRecruiting Station at the Schenectady County Airport. Lastyear, excellent weather and an overwhelming biker response,resulted in over 500 bikes participating in the event. Lastyear’s parade was over 3 miles long. In addition to donating abundle of toys, the event raised over $5,500 for this program.The price of admission to this event is one unwrapped new toyor $10 per person. Toys for older children are particularlyneeded. Complimentary coffee and donuts and a post ridegathering provided by LT’s Grill, Nott St., Niskayuna. the holidays are coming upon us. While everyone is happily
bustling around, as loved ones of a person with mental illness,
we also carry an extra burden… how are the holidays going to
affect our loved one? How will they handle the stress, the
anticipation, anxiety, the crowds, and the family expectations?
How will we help them and keep ourselves calm? If you are
struggling with these questions and worries, please feel free
to stop by one or more of our support groups during the
holidays. We offer peer support, a cup of coffee, and a place
to vent, laugh, or cry. We meet in Averill Park at the Church
of the Covenant (the round church on Route 43) on Monday,
November 19th and December 17th (6:30pm to 8pm) and in
Rensselaer at the SUNY School of Public Health, 1 University
Place (off Route 9/20) on Wednesday, November 7, November
21, December 5, and December 19th (6:30pm to 8pm). You

ST. HENRY’S FALL FESTIVAL
St. Henry’s Fall Festival will be held Saturday, November 17th,from 9 am to 6 pm; and Sunday, November 18th, from 8:30 amto 12:30 pm. The youth ministry will be running the HarvestFood booth for pies, baked goods and other harvest food goods.Lunch and dinner items will be available for sale on Saturday inthe kitchen. Coffee and donuts will be available for sale Saturdayand Sunday mornings. Once again, the Fall Festival will featurea Chinese Auction with hundreds of dollars in gift certificatesand merchandise from area restaurants and merchants. Asalways, a Craft booth, Christmas items, jewelry, books andvideos and games for the kids will be available, along with somenew surprises.
