The ancient town of Hasankeyf is located in southeastern Turkey The Zeynel Bey Tomb which is located in Hasankeyf, commemorates the warrior son of a Turkish ruler, who died in a battle against the Ottomans six centuries ago. The burial chamber has long disappeared but the tomb, made from cut stones, is architecturally unique in Turkey and an example of central Asian influences The discussions of possibility to relocate the structure began three-and-a-half years ago after scientists warned that the structure was at risk of being submerged with the construction of the Ilısu Dam In the conclusion of long studies and discussions, CJ-ICM Engineers and Crew have rolled up their sleeves to take important part of saving the historic Zeynel Bey Tomb The 1,100 tons Zeynel Bey Monument was transported for 2km by using 48 Axles SPMT in May, 2017
