• Postponed construction on Edgewater Drive between 131st Street and 136th Street until March 24th, the day before Spring Break, because of concern for children and traffic

• Currently installing force main and gravity sewer on Edgewater Drive from 131st Street to 129th Street

• Starting March 24th, will begin to install gravity sewer south from school to 131st Street

• Next will install force main north from 131st Street to school

• Then will install gravity sewer north from school to 136th Street

• Starting April 4th, contractor will shift work scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. to minimize the impact on morning commutes to work and school

• A safe walkway with a visible barrier between the roadway and the walk will be created for children walking to school as well as other foot traffic
