The sacrament of the sick is available to anyone who is acutely or chronically ill, or suffering the effects of age. Please speak with one of the priests.

Last religious education classes this week for the for the Sunday and Monday sessions. Classes dismiss regular time on Sunday, 4:30pm for the Monday afternoon session and 7:15pm for the Monday evening session.

First Holy Communion rehearsal Thursday, May 9th, 6:00-7:00pm in the church for Mrs. Lumezi’s class.
First Holy Communion at 5:00pm Mass on Saturday, May 11th, for Mrs. Labanowski’s class. Students meet under the church at 4:30pm.
First Holy Communion at 10:00am Mass on Sunday, May 12th, for Mrs. Sheehan’s class. Students meet under the church at 9:30am.
First Holy Communion at 12:00pm Mass on Sunday, May 12th, for Mrs. Lumezi’s class. Students meet under the church at 11:30am.
The Crowning of Mary will take place during the 10:00am Mass on Sunday, May 12th. All Communicants, dressed in their Communion outfits, are invited to this Mass to participate. Any other children at Mass are also welcome to participate. After the homily, at the direction of the celebrant, please come to the back of the church by way of the side aisles. You will then receive a flower to present to Mary by way of the center aisle. After-wards, you may return to your seat.

ChristLife is a three-part evangelization series that we will be hosting here at St. John’s this fall. ChristLife is a program that prepares Catholics for efforts in evan-gelization. It is meant to guide people to personally encounter Christ and become His missionary disci-ples. The first part of this series is a seven-week program called Discovering Christ, which “invites you to hear the Good News and personally encounter Jesus Christ.” We need volunteers to be facilitators and assistants during the sessions. Facilitators will promote and encourage discussion in small groups based upon the topic taught in that session. Training will be provided to volunteers here at the parish. If you are interested in serving as a facilitator, please contact the parish office or use the Sign Up Genius found on the parish website and Facebook page.
