Part of the program review process is the consideration of third-party input on a program’s practices, procedures, and educational outcomes. Members with concern as to a program’s compli- ance with the standards are encour- aged to forward their comments to CADE. A list of programs under review for initial or renewed accreditation and a corresponding site visit sched- ule is available at www.eatright.org/ Public/7782_8477.cfm. In the relaxing setting of the Caleo Resort & Spa, symposium par- ticipants will hear cutting-edge re- search about obesity prevention and treatment and learn about the practi- cal approaches to obesity manage- ment being implemented by your peers. Invited speakers will cover the landscape from children to adults and from individual counseling to commu- nity outreach. Networking opportuni- ties daily. ABOUT PEOPLE Medallion Winner Margaret Matheson Passes Margaret H. Matheson, MS, RD, August, 2006, graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics and a mas- ter’s degree in nutrition. After com- pleting her dietetic internship at Peter Bent Bringham Hospital, she moved to Minneapolis where she held several positions including dietetic internship director at St Paul-Ramsey Medical Center. She was a member of the Twin Cities District Dietetic Asso- ciation, president of the Minnesota Di- etetic Association, delegate in the ADA House of Delegates, member of the ADA Nominating Committee, and chairman of the Council on Education. In 1981 she received the Minnesota Medallion Award and in 1986 she re- ceived the ADA Medallion award.
