Background Mohammed Yusuf Naghi Group (MYNG) is multi-faceted parent organization

with its subsidiary companies in FMCG, Food Supplies, Automobile Sales and

manufacturing, Electronics & appliances, Medicine, Marketing, Logistics etc

Arabian Trading Supplies (ATS) is the major company under MYNG umbrella.

Arabian Trading Supplies which now functions autonomously within which are

the following independently managed divisions:

Consumer Products Division

Mars Division (Formerly known as Masterfoods)

Cosmetics Division (L’Oreal, Garnier, Vichy)

ATS is now one of Saudi Arabia's largest marketing and distribution operation. At

the heart of all three divisions is the fully modernized warehouse in Jeddah,

which was built to meet the highest international standards.

Business Needs

With a big employee base scattered across the Kingdom, there was eminent

need for system to manage the organization’s talent.

High need for a smooth and uniform performance management and tracking of

employee objective.

Challenges

No seeded integration between EBS and Fusion was provided by Oracle, hence

had to modify the out of box utility for data migration, as per client’s configuration.

Inconsistencies in the data that was maintained in EBS,(Helped IT staff for Data

Cleaning)

Testing and Training was done on Rel5 and Rel7 Two times.

Since the client organization had introduced the manual Performance

Management (paper based) in last year only; there was decent amount of

resistance from HR users as they were not comfortable with manual process and

with Fusion Talent Management.

It was very difficult to finalize schedule for Top Management User Training due

to their unavailability on different dates.

Production system was checked thoroughly 1 month before and it was completely

fine. Just before Go Live various customizations and configurations disappeared

due to Release Patch 7. Configuring all that on short time was a tough task.

Solutions

Delivered Organization Goal with Cascading methodology.

Mapping the client’s manual process into the system using Fusion Goal

Management, Performance Management and Talent Review Modules integrated

with each other.

The utility provided by oracle for data migration was configured so that client can

use it with ease(EBS – Fusion data).

Design Performance Document Template as per Client PDR document.

Goal Management restricted access throughout the organization.

Business Benefits Delivered With Fusion Talent Management; the client can now monitor the performance of

the employees which further ensures organizational timeline.

Organization’s having employee in different regions across organization; with the

use of Fusion Talent Management HR Division can manage the Performance

Appraisal process smoothly and uniformly.

Client can easily analyze the quality of employee base and take decisions

pertaining to enhancing the skillset of employees using Fusion Talent

Management.

Client can now take key decisions with analysis of employees’ performance like

Bonuses & Promotions or optimum use of employees’ skills by reorganizing

internally.

Organization can track the Performance rating using Dashboard and reminder’s

can be issued as and when required.

Benefits for Manager to track employee Objectives on time and assist them at

regular interval.

Successfully completed Training Sessions @ different locations as per the timeline

defined .

Testing for R5 and R7 Upgrade extensively.

Regular follow-up with IT department and Business owner for all open points and

get it closed on time.
