With residents beginning to put up Christmas trees and festive decorations, please be mindful that although Christmas trees look lovely when sighted in view of your living room window - this does give an opportunist thief an insight as to whether there are presents wrapped up and waiting under the tree.Don't let thieves go window shopping in your street.PSDon't leave the cardboard boxes in view ready of the dustmen - a nice 50 inch TV box left outside your property will certainly alert potential burglars what you have just purchased!!Always place inside your bins or turn inside out.Have a safe and secure festive time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~COLD CALLERS ALERT – HEARING AIDS/HEARING TEST
We have been advised that again we have a company cold calling in Lincolnshire advertising FREE hearing
Aids/Hearing tests.
Please be mindful that the company will be canvassing for you to allow them to contact your previous employment to claim for compensation for hearing loss.
If you wish to apply for a hearing aid or hearing test – these are FREE on the NHS service if you are suffering loss of
hearing. You should initially contact your local doctor who can arrange for suitable appointments to be made.
Should you have made an appointment with any cold calling company you have by right 14 days to cancel any contractual obligations.
Alternatively please contact Trading Standards on Tel: 0345 4040506 for further advice.
