They say this can put you at risk of identity theft and scams. There are things you can do to protect yourself. See all the tips contained in the 12 Online Frauds of Christmas available from www.getsafeonline.org . If you have fallen prey to fraudsters, report it by contacting Action Fraud. He added, "We are working with the City of London Police and the National Fraud Authority to remind the people of Lincolnshire to beware of people trying to take money from you through such scams. We are warning people particularly in the lead up to Christmas although the advice that this campaign provides should be considered when purchasing items online at any time of the year." In response to the Poaching, last Friday we conducted a joint operation with Humberside Police and the Lincs Police Lincolnshire Op Gallileo team targeting the Caistor beat area. As a result 2 poachers vehicles and equipment were seized and, in an unrelated find, £2400 worth of stolen plant equipment was recovered.

These operations take a lot of planning but we hope to conduct several more this season.

* The Neighbourhood Panel are members of each of the area's Parish Councils, invited to meet 3 times per year to assess local policing for the previous period and to give the policing team up to 3 policing priorities for the next. These priorities are decided upon what matters most to the community at that time and reflect the community's most prevalent concerns.

The Caistor Neighbourhood Plan, is a vision for the future of the town, it has been created by Caistor volunteers and is based on consultations held over the last year or so.

This is the final draft, it is now your opportunity to comment. You only have six weeks. It is a glimpse into the future of how the town can develop. Following the consultation the final version will be examined by a Government Planning Inspector.Once it has got through the examination by the inspector he will recommend that it goes forward to the referendum. That is your chance to vote in favour of it. If it gets a simple majority vote ie. more than 50% of the votes at the referendum, it then gets adopted by WL as the statutory Development Plan for Caistor, part of its Planning Policies & Guides for Caistor. Please go to this link on http://www.caistor.net/NP/ CLOSING DATE DECEMBER 23rd
