A Reminder

Hedgehogs are on the decline in the U.K.!! With Autumn upon us there will be bonfires and garden clearing. This is a gentle reminder to please check your piles of leaves and general litter before you burn!!Hedgehogs will be looking for places to build their winter nests and may build temporary day nest in the piles. They do not run they freeze and curl up in defence. An injured, burnt hedgehog is a horrible thing, so PLEASE move your burn and rubbish pilesbefore you set them alight!
