Republican Candidate for Presi-dent, Carly Fiorina was our guest at North Scott Rotary this past Week. It was a great meeting with 150+ Rotarians and guests. In addition there were numerous National new media persons, Carly’s committee people, and other guests that showed up for the Speech. Photo by Bill Tubbs

Carly and Dr. Brad Burt had a long conversation before her speech. I knew Brad was unusually quiet during her speech. Photo by Dennis

LAST MEETING – September 25, 2015 – Carly Fiorina for President Sixty three North Scott Rotarians and 87 guests attended our special meeting welcoming Re-publican presidential candidate, Ms. Carly Fiorina to the Steeplegate. Many, many hands were busy making this a safe and enjoyable visit for Ms. Fiorina from Texas. She had numerous campaign staff traveling with her, and she also attracted a flock of reporters and news media. There were about 25 additional people that were there but did not eat. Glen kept the business meeting short. Andy Green said goodbye to the club, as he has moved to Indiana to take a better job with Boy Scouts of America. He gave $25 for the education fund and told about his high school days, visiting the Clinton Rotary club as a Junior Rotarian. He said that now he realizes that Rotary is much more than missing a class, and getting a soda. Kelly Meyer reminded everyone to come eat at Chick-fil-A on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Ten per cent of the sales to people that mention North Scott Rotary will come back to us to use for auction purposes. Patrick promoted the upcoming auction and invited everyone present to attend.

The 4 Way Test Of the things we THINK SAY or DO

1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
