LAST MEETING – April 10, 2015 – North Scott Boys Championship Team Coach Shamus Budde and assistant Stephan Nass are extremely proud of the seven seniors on the championship North Scott Basketball team. Trey, Grant, Ricky, Tanner, Miles, Cortez and Marlon are so much more than basketball players, they are excellent citizens of the community. NSHS was represented very well in Des Moines at the state tournament. The team made history for North Scott, as they took home the top trophy. Shamus has taught at Ed White Elementary for 12 years. He has been the head basketball coach for 8 years and has had a winning record for the past 6 years. Stephan is employed full time by the FBI and is a volunteer motivator for the team and coaching staff. He is also a Chaplin for FCA. Glen Keppy asked members to complete the committee sheets for next year----otherwise you may be stuck on a committee, you don’t want to serve on. Eric Langan was the sergeant and col-lected $82 in fines. He had the basketball team shooting baskets with a nerf basketball. If they made it, each table had to pay. Seventy five were present on Friday, including guests, Tim Lane from Bettendorf Rotary, Jim Lafrenz, guest of Ken Tank and Jerry Trimble, guest of Jan Trimble.

The 4 Way Test Of the things we THINK SAY or DO

1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
