Surrounded by the South China Sea and the Mekong river this nations hosts it true natural beauty of its own, with
a diverse culture that spans over thousands of years, resilience is the key characteristic for this people.
With the recent economic resolutions and the ASEAN establishment, this socialist country is witnessing a economic
boom, with the agriculture and industries grow in a exponential rate, service sector also becoming a key market. Due to
its unmatchable beauty, millions of tourists every year get spell-bounded and mesmerized by this destination.
With these avenues being present, in recent times the country is facing with increase in youth unemployment, which
grew from a mild 1% to a staggering 6.9% during the year of 2013, one of the main reasons are that the youth is unable
to cope with the rapid effects of the globalization, lack of global competitiveness is a key issue amongst the youth based
on the research that is carried out by World Bank. Which enable AIESEC to play a key role in addressing this issue.

In Vietnam, the current workforce for management level do not usually possess a
global mindset due to the lack of international working experience.
Young Vietnamese people also lack of practical skills. Students who join Global
Talent programme will gain practical working experience in an international
environment, which will be a strategic move on their career journey.
