Christina Gammoh • What are the things that changed in you since

you joined AIESEC?

• A number of things changed in me once I joined AIESEC, I am now more comfortable and confident around strangers and people in general and I can comfortably say I am going to kick ass in any interview I will make in the future whether it’s job related or AIESEC related “ my interviews skills got a lot better” . AIESEC improved my personality and my perspective of youth empowerment.

• How is your AIESEC experience so far?

• My AIESEC experience definitely had its Ups and Downs; at the beginning I wasn’t really comfortable with my surrounding the VPs, members, etc. I felt like an outsider. However everything changed once a got to know everyone and let me just say AIESEC people are AWESOME. I experienced frustration due to the absence of my VP and the multiple fails of Skype meeting, this frustration kept on growing and reached its limits in the meeting prior ACTIVATE, this meeting was a mess. All of this frustration went away in ACTIVATE, it was an amazing life changing experience, and things just went smoothly after it. So far so good I suppose. Haha.

Omar Attieh • Why were you chosen to be member of the

month?

• I was really surprised but after asking and

analyzing I found out I was giving this title

because of my commitment in doing my

tasks, and I took the task as my own thing.

• What are the things that changed in you

since you joined AIESEC?

• What really changed in me that I became

more open-minded to different types of

people, and broke the boundaries of shyness.

And as for my AIESEC experience so far, its

actually amazing, I feel Like I'm part of

something that can really make a change in

people's lives. I'm just loving it here the work

the people, even the ones I'm meeting from

out of the country.

Zaid Khalaifeh • How did you feel ?

• I was actually happy and a bit embarrassed actually felt weird everyone looking at me and cheering and all, wasn't used to it I usually just did my tasks when it came to work and that's it. Never waited for anyone to thank me I'd just do my thing. Gotta admit it made my day, especially when my VP gave me one of her bandits as a gift, I'll hold on to it forever :)

• What are the things that changed in you since you joined AIESEC?

• I'm more comfortable dealing with people now, I've always been a quite person( and still am) but now I'm much more outspoken, more mature, and one major thing that changed is that I actually DANCED infront of people. Can you imagine that ? Mo5abrat can dance ;) now that's one heck of a change there.

• How's your AIESEC experience so far ?

• it's been great! It's a challenge that will change me for the best. The opportunities we are presented with will bring out your potential, and make you do things you'd think you aren't capable of. The thing I enjoy most in my experience is meeting new people, people who are just amazing to be with, people you'll always remember, people that will be there for you and support you whenever you need them.

AIESEC GLOBAL

What has AIESEC accomplished this year

The Mena region news

Global AIESEC has been helping the

Mena regions in a project called

“AMAL” aimed at generating a

unified project for the whole Mena

region regarding experiences , the

Mena region having the highest

unemployment rate compared to

other regions in the last 2 years

estimated at 25% , this is where

AIESEC needed to play a role

Shape Colombia: shape Colombia was created by the education department of Bogota with the idea of bringing native English speakers as facis of fun and innovative “immersion spaces”

This lead to a co-op with AIESEC in Colombia involving 26 trainees from 13 different nationalities , 21 schools and about 10,000 teenagers , the biggest impact of the project could be the initiatives to build closeness and trust between civil society , the institutions and the private sector

Success Story

However, things turned sour for Jobs when he sought to expand Apple further, hiring former Pepsi chief executive John Scullery to lead Apple in a new direction. The experienced chief executive had no patience for Jobs controversial and demanding management style, and after just two years, they had no time for each other. In a boardroom coup, Jobs was ousted from the company he founded.

Just a year later, he purchased a struggling animation studio from Star Wars mastermind George Lucas. It bled money for over ten years – money that Jobs himself was spending on the studio – until it had a fantastic 1997 hit with the movie Toy Story " Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. "- Steven Paul Job

Jobs second period at Apple produced many of the companies most successful devices. From the iPad to the iMac, the Jobs-led Apple surged past its previous milestones and grew into the biggest company in the technology sector. Although it took a heavy blow to set Jobs on the right path, his experience reflects a true genius, and is regarded as the greatest second act in business history.

Early Life Born in San Francisco, California, to parents that were unable to care for him, Steve Jobs early life was a struggle for identity. An adopted child raised by caring parents Despite his immense intelligence, he wasnt interested in schooling, aside from a few select classes , he was much more interested in prinking phone computers, creating innovative business ideas, and messing around with machinery alongside his close friend

Initial success with the Apple 1 pushed Jobs and Wozniak to create bigger and better computers, and by the late 1970s they had created what would become Apples first big success: the Apple 2. A high speed business workstation, the computer was a hit in their native California, and Jobs soon became a millionaire from the computers heavy sales throughout the state, and later the country
