Additionally AIESEC fosters leadership for a positive impact on society by providing 12,000 leadership positions at local, national and international levels each year.” Message from the president AIESEC United Arab Emirates in 2010/2011 Welcome and thank you for reading the AIESEC UAE Q3 External Newsletter. In this newsletter you will find more information about the activities of AIESEC UAE and the engagement opportunities that we provide. The stand AIESEC UAE National team for 2010/11 is Engage, Empower, Achieve. It reflects our ambition of the term which is to engage all of our stakeholders in a stronger and more positive way, Empower our membership and youth to take up ownership and to lead the organization which in turn will lead us to achieving our goals. The National team has set ambitious goals for the term and after three months I can confidently state that we are on the right track of achieving them. Currently we have around 70 members in the organization and we realized 6 exchange experiences (from the 1 st of July 2010). Our membership recruitment is underway as we speak in various universities in the UAE. We have signed one new partnership with Nielsen for our International Internship program whereby Nielsen is taking AIESEC interns. In addition to this our current partners ACER, Reckitt Benckiser and Kraft have decided to take in more interns through AIESEC which is for us a testament of the quality of the services that AIESEC UAE provides. We also have signed a partnership with Education First to be our recruitment partner for the year which is the first of its kind in AIESEC UAE and in the gulf region as well.

Welcome to AIESEC UAE “AIESEC is the world’s largest youth organization, bringing together over 50,000 university students across 110 countries. Our network connects high-potential people interested in Leadership and Management and provides them the opportunity to develop their skills in a practical environment.

AIESEC also provides members with the opportunity to work abroad in areas from management, human resources, marketing, information technology, cultural education and linguistics in any one of our 10,000 internships globally each year. Additionally AIESEC fosters leadership for a positive impact on society by providing 12,000 leadership positions at local, national and international levels each year.”

Message from the president AIESEC United Arab Emirates in 2010/2011 Welcome and thank you for reading the AIESEC UAE Q3 External Newsletter. In this newsletter you will find more information about the activities of AIESEC UAE and the engagement opportunities that we provide.

Our biggest event of the year the 4th AIESEC Gulf Talent Conference taking place from 11th till14th of November. The first day of the conference dubbed the Youth Leadership Summit is going to bring over 350 delegates from the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar where they will be given workshops and sessions from our conference partners revolved around youth leadership in the topics or human capital development, environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship and social responsibility.

Overall the term 2010/11 is proving to be a very exciting one and I truly believe that this year AIESEC UAE will be creating a greater positive impact on society. I would like to thank all of our partners for their continued support and I sincerely hope that many more companies would join us on our journey.

The 4 th Gulf Talent Conference and Youth Leadership Summit

AIESEC welcomes you to become involved with the 4th Gulf Talent Conference hosted by AIESEC in UAE. By choosing to interact with AIESEC, you are demonstrating a valuable commitment to young people and improving the capacity of our society. The Gulf Talent Conference is one of the biggest events for youth in the region to develop skills, build competencies and tackle key issues for the Gulf. More than 300 delegates of 4 countries will convene to set strategic plans, review initiatives, undergo functional training & grow their networks.

The conference represents an opportunity for corporate and non-corporate organizations to:

� Access the future leadership within the Gulf region. � Develop a positive employer brand. � Access the opinions about this key market. � Help enable these high-potential young people to become

International internship program As many of you knows one of our main activities is the international internship program for university students and fresh graduates. AIESEC offers your organization access to international talent. The people you select are becoming your employees for a certain period of time and can be working in the following

fields: management, marketing, logistics, HR, project management, accounting, finance, CSR, environmental issues, web development, software development and programming, system analysis and design, network management , database management as well as e.g. language teaching.

This calendar year AIESEC globally already managed to realize 10 000 internships around the world. This is historical success for us and proves that our program is valuable and unique in the way it is run.

AIESEC Difference We can provide you with good quality candidates from undergraduates to masters.

Our program is running the whole year long, so whenever you need staff we can help.
