About Vdocuments.site
Free online tools for the file formats everyone else gave up on.
What we do
Vdocuments.site is a small, focused tool site. We build free online converters and viewers for document, email and ebook formats that modern software has quietly stopped supporting — or never supported in the first place. If you've ever received a winmail.dat attachment you couldn't open, found an old family scan saved as DjVu, or been sent an Apple Pages document on a Windows PC, you are exactly who this site is for.
Our current toolkit covers ten formats: Winmail.dat (TNEF) opening and attachment extraction, EML to PDF, MSG viewing and MSG to PDF, XPS to PDF, Pages to Word and Pages to PDF, DjVu to PDF, MOBI to PDF, MHT to PDF, WPD to PDF with WPS to Word guidance, and an online CHM viewer.
How our tools work
Unlike most converter websites, Vdocuments.site does not upload your files to a server. Every tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript: the file is read on your device, converted on your device, and the result is downloaded from your device. That design has three consequences we think matter:
- Privacy. Your emails, contracts and personal documents never leave your computer or phone.
- Speed. There is no upload queue — most files convert in a couple of seconds.
- Cost. With no conversion servers to run, we can keep every tool free, with no daily limits and no watermarks.
Who runs the site
Vdocuments.site is an independent project, maintained by a small team of developers who got tired of paying subscription fees to open a single attachment. We fund the site through lightweight advertising so the tools can stay free for everyone.

Found a file we can't open yet, or a bug in a converter? We genuinely want to hear about it — unusual files are how the toolkit grows. Visit the contact page and tell us the format and what went wrong.
