Join us on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in The Rock for a time of fellowship, sharing and worship. Refreshments are provided. Children are welcome, but we also have a

nursery for the young ones.

On Thursday, May 15, Vita Alligood will present the Book of James – from memory – at The Porch, and then we’ll follow James’ advice and put our faith into action by making a meal for Pathways Family Shelter. On May 22, we will resume our series called “The Way Things Are.” It’s a look at the timeless wisdom that comes to us through the first few chapters of Genesis.

They’ve had a dozen attendees over the past few weeks, married and single, mostly with young children. They welcome anyone to join them as they study “The Daniel Plan.” It’s a series of video lessons about nutrition and health from a Christian perspective. The other class is for younger adults, those who are college-aged to a bit beyond. They’ve had about 15 different attendees over the first few weeks. They’re currently studying Rob Bell’s “Nooma” video series. Young people who are home for the summer (or just for the weekend) are welcome to come and reconnect with old friend or make new ones.
