20 Years of Driving the Pharmaceutical Industry Forward

CPhI & P-MEC China 2020 – organized by Informa Markets and CCCMHPIE and co-organized by Shanghai Sinoexpo

Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center

(SNIEC) on 16-18 December 2020. The event attracted a remarkable number of 46,157 visits from professional pharma

visitors, including 5,105 international attendees taking part online. 2,958 companies participated as exhibitors spread

over 200,000 sqm and the exhibition extended its pharma scope with the medical supplies field.

CPhI & P-MEC China will return in 2021 from 16-18 December at SNIEC, covering 200,000 sqm with over 3,000

exhibiting companies. It continues to build the premier pharma platform for both Chinese and international pharma

professionals.

"Virtual Expo Connect" – the digital version of the physical CPhI & P-MEC China event – was launched

on November 18 for 31 days. It offered an online alternative for international visitors unable to travel

to the live show in China due to travel restrictions - adding valued services and infinite opportunities

to connect, learn, trade and grow.

Registered users came from 111 countries and regions around the world,

covering the entire pharma industry supply chain.

Through "Online Matchmaking" and the "Hosted Buyer Video

Meeting", 529 overseas professional buyers from Europe,

Americas, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other

In addition, the “Digital Center” was spread throughout the

entire venue during the 3-day exhibition, providing technical

support and services to maximise the online interaction

between exhibitors and overseas clients.

6 themed virtual “Guided Tours” were live-streamed, covering 33

companies from the fields of APIs, CMO&CRO, excipients, natural

extracts, chromatography and pharmaceutical packaging materials.

Interviews with 17 exhibiting companies, including top executives

from Merck, Lonza, Proton, Langhua, Apeloa, Tofflon and other

companies, were conducted in the "Exhibitors’ Talk" to show key

insights of pharma industry leaders. In addition, 6 “On-demand

Conferences” were delivered, covering topics of the current epidem-

ic impact, China and global pharma market prospects and challeng-

es, vaccine packaging and drug delivery systems and more.

cased 2,960 domestic and international

high-quality pharma suppliers, and more

CPhI & P-MEC China 2021 will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on 16-18 December 2021. It will continue to build a high-end hybrid integration of "exhibition" plus "internet" for the entire pharma industry chain, strengthen the online and offline development, and lead the new pattern of global pharmal digital trade.
