Father Emanuel Tanu SVD God is Good all the time! And all the time God is Good.

Today we celebrate the solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Let us be grateful of the sacrament of the Eucharist that we celebrate every Sunday where we can receive the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. As human beings, we need real food to feed our bodies; as spiritual beings we also need spiritual food to feed our souls. For us as Christians, the Eucharist (The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ) is the food for the soul, the food of immortality. St. John in his gospel, chapter 6, records the words of Jesus that explain the importance of the Eucharist; Jesus says: “I am the bread of life. I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh..." So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. There is power in the Eucharist. There is life, love, nourishment and refreshment, in the Body and Blood of Christ. So, let us be grateful of the sacrament for the Eucharist. And let us always celebrate it with faith, love and reverence.

. Please be as generous as possible in your giving.

Thank You in Advance!

Our Parish’s Family Cross:

We are in need of families or individuals to serve as the gift bearers for mass and to take home the Parish Cross to pray for the needs of your family and the needs of Our Parish Family. Each Sunday a family, couple, or individual will present the gifts and receive “The Parish Cross” and a special blessing. In taking the cross, they commit themselves to pray during the week in the name of your family, our parish family and vocations to the priest-hood, diaconate and religious life. For more information, call the parish office.

Sick and Shut-Ins: The Samaritans are available for home and hospital visits in an effort to take communion to those parishioners who are unable to attend Sunday Mass. If you or a loved one would like to receive communion, please call the rectory or

see Mrs. Sampson.
