dren’s author Judy Young will be visiting the Poplar Bluff Public Library on Oct. 25.
Known for titles including Minnow and Rose, A Pet for Miss Wright, The Hidden Bestiary and many others, Missouri-native Young will give talks at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m and give attentendees the scoop on her writing process.

Library just took an even bigger step into the digital age: The ever-popular Ama-zon Kindle is now compatible with the Library’s Download Sta-tion.If you’re a Kindle user,
this is the announcement you’ve been waiting for. The addition means even
more card holders can ac-cess the Library’s growing
eBook collec-tion, which currently in-cludes nearly 2,000 titles.
According to informa-tion from OverDrive, the Library’s digital-resource lending system, eBooks can be downloaded direct-ly to the Kindle wirelessly by first choosing and bor-
rowing them through a desktop computer or with a full-featured browser on a tablet.Need help navigating the
