Tool School, this roll up tool or make-up or whatever

pouch is the perfect easy gift to give to everyone on

your list. Learn how to use bias tape makers and the

new Warm Fleece 2 batting.

LEARN TO HAND EMBROIDER—Learn basic

embroidery stitches, how to transfer designs, what

floss to use and more. Hand embroidery is a great,

portable project and lots of fun!

EDGE TO EDGE MACHINE EMBROIDERY—

Let Sandy show you how this Easy-Connect Quilting

technique, combined with specially designed embroi-

dery files, makes it possible for you to create edge-to-

edge quilting using your home embroidery machine.

Embroidery machine with min. of 6”x9” hoop is required.

PURSE MAKING MADE EASY—If purses scare

you or you’d just like to improve your skills, this is the

perfect class. You will learn about interfacings and how

to apply them, pockets, handles and even how to put

in a zipper. When you’re done, you’ll have all the tools you

need to be a “bag lady” and have a finished Margo purse to

show off your new skills. Sewing machine required.

SEWING WITH MINI’S—Don’t be scared of the little

pieces, learn tips and tricks for sewing with mini’s . Our pro-

ject will be a cute 12” turkey in time for your fall decorating.



Wed. Oct 21 & 28 6-8 pm—$30

MACHINE BINDING BASICS—Learn great tips for ap-

plying binding with your sewing machine. This technique is

sturdier and faster than sewing your bindings by hand and a

great way to feature a decorative stitch. Sewing machine re-

quired.


Mon. Nov. 2 5:30-8:00 pm —$25

BEGINNING QUILTING - If you’ve ever had the desire

to learn to make a quilt but didn’t know where to start, this is

the class for you! Learn everything you need to know to “get

you on your way” to successful quilt making in this four-week

class. Start with fabric selection, rotary cutting, strip piecing

and finish with layering and binding - plus tips and tricks to

use on future projects. This class specializes in hands-on in-

struction and individual attention. Sewing machine required.


Tues. Nov. 3, 10, 17 & 24 6-8 pm—$60

JELLY SQUARES—Join me for Jelly Squares, a jelly roll

quilt that is quick and easy! Work on lining up squares with-

out cornerstones and adding an cool optional border not

included in the instruction. Sewing machine required.

Wed. Nov. 4, 11 & 18 6-8 pm $45

MACHINE EMBROIDERY FOR BEGINNERS—This is

a great class to get started with machine embroidery. We will

learn about stabilizers, threads and so much more with tricks

for making your projects successful. Any brand machine

welcome but you must have basic knowledge of how

your machine works. Sewing machine with embroidery unit

required.

SCRAP CRAZY CHRISTMAS STOCKING—

Learn how to use your Scrap Crazy Ruler templates to

make an easy Christmas Stocking using scraps, layer

cakes or 6” strips. Sewing machine required.


Mon. Nov. 23 & 30 6-8 pm—$30

BEYOND BEGINNING QUILTING - This class

expands on your skills by learning to square up blocks,

the importance of accurate piecing and cutting plus

other quilting skills. Good follow up class to our Begin-

ning Quilting Class. Pattern choice needs to be approved

by instructor. Sewing machine required.


Tues. Dec. 1, 8 & 15 6-8 pm $45

CHRISTMAS TREE TWISTER – Learn how to use

the Lil’ Twister tool while making this darling little wall-

hanging. Not difficult but you must enjoy working with

smaller pieces. Sewing machine required.


Wed. Dec. 2 & 9 6-8 pm $30

SEWING WITH MINKY—Learn all the tricks to

sewing with Minky while making a cute 29” x 29” baby

quilt from one of our pre-cut kits. Sewing machine re-

quired.


Wed. Dec. 16 5:30-8 pm $25

INSIDES MATTER (batting and interfacing

abc’s) -— Want to know the differences between

batting types and what you should use in your quilt?

Confused by purse patterns and the fusible interfac-

ings they ask for? This class will clear up all the ques-

tions so you can make the right choices for your pro-

jects. We will put together a sample book in class for

future reference.


Mon. Dec. 28 6-8 pm - $20

BEGINNING SEWING - Have fun making an apron

while learning the basics of sewing like laying out a pat-

tern, reading directions, learning your sewing machine

and sewing terms. Sewing machine required.


Tues. Dec. 29, Jan. 5 & 12 6-8 pm—$45

About Our Classes To sign up for a class, please pre-register to reserve your

space. Classes have a minimum of 4 students and refunds

are available up to one week before the first class ses-

sion. In fairness to the teachers and other students who

have purchased their supplies, we are unable to make

refunds after that time.

Supplies are needed for all classes and a supply list will be

furnished when you register. The class fee covers in-

struction only, but there is a 10% discount on all supplies

needed for the class. Materials for classes at Quilter’s

Cupboard must be purchased at Quilter’s Cupboard so

that we can remain in business to keep offering you

more great classes!

Due to student and teacher allergies, please refrain from

wearing perfumes and scented lotions to class.

MONTHLY CLUBS GROOVY GIRLS

Our most popular club is starting another 6 month ses-

sion starting in November, it’s just a fun way to spend

an hour and learn a little something new. Cindy will

show you new techniques, fabrics, patterns and tools.

Who knows, you might even receive a free pattern for

our featured project. Club lasts about 1 hour and

meets 1st Friday of the month at 10:30am. Cost is $25

for 6 months or $5 per month, if space allows.

NEW 6 MONTH SESSION STARTS IN NOVEMBER

MACHINE EMBROIDERY CLUB

Starts Thurs. Nov. 5th and continues the 1st Thursday

of the month for 6 months. Club meets at 10:30 am or

6 pm. $72/6 months or only $60 if you purchased your

machine from Quilter's Cupboard!

ALL MACHINE BRANDS WELCOME

This club is project oriented and will be lecture/demo.

Each month you will receive the project will full instruc-

tions and tips/tricks. The projects are a great learning

tool and will use a wide variety of materials and tech-

niques. Basic Machine Embroidery experience is helpful

but not required.
