Honorary Member Lorraine Thomas Dies American Dietetic Association Honor- ary Member Lorraine Thomas passed away on August 5, 2011. Thomas was Special Assistant to the Executive Di- rector of the ADA. In the citation rec- ognizing her honorary membership in 1984, Thomas was honored for her dedication and loyalty to the American Dietetic Association, her 19 years of service in the executive office at ADA headquarters, her ability to contribute accurate historic information and valu- able perspectives essential for decision making, her effective support of the Board of Directors, and her longstand- ing and faithful service to the profes- sion of dietetics.
