BOT UpdateOur first Board Of Trustees (BOT) meeting after the recent elections was held last night. The Co-Principals andstaff would like to welcome new members, David Conwell (Theas Dad in Kauri) and Jane Dancer (Annies Dad inKahikatea). Lynne OConnor (Poppys Mum in Kowhai), Heidi Snelson (Ela in Kahikatea and Chias Mum in Kauri) andAlison Finnie (Sarahs Mum in Kauri) have returned for another term. Alison was elected as the BOT Chairpersonand David as the Treasurer.As a new BOT we really appreciate your input and would like to thank everyone who has been able to complete therecent surveys via survey monkey. These results help to inform our Strategic and Annual Plans. If you haven't hada chance to complete the survey, please do, as the more people that respond the more robust the survey. Important Information regarding EOTC Week: Please note that the whole school will be meeting at the East byWest Ferry terminal on Queens Wharf at 9.15am on Monday 21 November. Kowhai and Kauri will need to have intheir back-pack a substantial morning and afternoon tea, drink bottle, sweat shirt, sunhat and good walking shoes.The children will return to the wharf at 2.00 p.m. and can be collected from there at 2.00 p.m. or from CTMS at3.00 p.m.Welcome: A warm welcome to Nikola Davies (Mias sister) and Teacher Aide, Brittany Packer to Kauri homegroup.Mulch Spreading: Many thanks to all those parents who helped with the mulch spreading. Have a look down thebank when you have a chance! We are developing a wonderful native hide-away for the children.Science in a Van: Next Thursday CTMS will be having a full day of Science. Science in a Van is a team from
Auckland who are providing hands on Science experiences featuring amazing science stunts, bubble activities andother cross curricular learning opportunities.Kids 4 Kids Concert: Parents who want to download an electronic version of the piano backing tracks music forpracticing at home, you can download the piano tracks https//worldvision.org.nz/kids4kids/resources.aspxCTMS is singing Part A.Macarthy Trust: Many thanks to the Macarthy Trust for their kind donation of $500 for the purchase of librarybooks.
