1. Deliver the topics to be review previously.

0Deliver the topics that are going to be reviewed in the meeting previously to the right people.

0By telling “the right people” we refer to those who can contribute in a positive manner to the meeting, those who know what some of the problems are and, those who want to fix those problems by giving possible solutions.

Forbes leadership…

Carol Kinsey expert on leadership, body language, and professional success, gave Forbes leadership, a good tip to have succesfull meetings by having an interview with Andrew Filev (CEO of Wrike)Carol Kinsey Goman: You must hate going to meetings!Andrew Filev: A lot of people hate meetings, but I actually like them. Not just any meeting though; I like meetings that involve the right people who are well prepared, are focused on solving a problem, and where people engage with a sense of purpose. One way to make meetings matter is to first think through exactly when and why you need them – and do this every time you attend or create one.

Forbes leadership…

0According to Carol Kinsey Goman (expert on leadership, body language, and professional success), in her article: New Year's Resolution: Make Your Meetings Matter published in Forbes leadership, says that according to a recent survey; only roughly half of the meetings workers attend are considered productive. While 35% of professionals are in six or more meetings each week, 46% of those attendees leave meetings without a clear understanding of the next action item.

To avoid this kind of feelings or negative thoughts is necessary to take into account what everyone says about each topic and to take action and try to give a proper and, fast solution to the problems; otherwise people will continue to feel this way about meetings.

3. 5 minutes bell.

Keep a bell or a timer ready to be used in the meeting when someone gives his (or her) point of view. This will help you to keep your schedule as planned and to “educate” people to give a precise and concise opinion on the subject.
