8. Re-install the factory support rod back onto the assem-bled grille using the factory 8mm bolts.

13. Use flat or semi-gloss black paint and black-out every-thing that is visible through the grille opening exceptthe windshield washer bottle and filler cap.

9. Align the left and right lower mounting brackets intoplace. Drill .125 holes (1/8) through the holes in thebrackets and into the lower mounting bosses. Install the

3/4 black truss head screws into the lower mountingholes as shown.10. Break off the lower factory mounting tabs as they willbe visible through the Mesh grille.

5. Remove the plastic factory grille inserts from the sur-round by unclipping them using a flat blade screw-driver.

6. Align the Mesh sections over into the factory grille sur-round, making sure that the Mesh section are flushagainst the back edge of the factory surround.7. Use a .125 (1/8) drill bit and drill through all mountingboss locations. Install the #8 x 3/4 black truss headscrews at all boss locations except the top two holes perside. These holes will need the supplied 1 truss headscrews installed. Visually check the screw tip duringinstallation, shorten if it contacts the surround.

11. Install the supplied rubber grommet into the hole in thecenter mounting bracket.12. Align the center mounting bracket over the factory grillemounting bosses (where shown). Use a .125 (1/8)drill bit and drill through the mounting hole locations.Install the #8 x 3/4 black truss head screws to securethe center bracket.

17. Apply grease (A) to the hole drilled in the hood latchassembly. Pass the hood latch rod through the rubbergrommet and pass it through the hole drilled in the

hood latch assembly (Step 4), Install the push on retain-er to secure the latch rod at the factory latch assembly.

18. Finished installation.

15. Install the washer bottle cover by inserting the taperedend (A) along the left side of the tank and securing itwith the factory push fasteners (B) removed in Step 14.Tuck the top edge up underneath the plastic cover (C).

16. Reinstall the assembled grille back onto the hood andreinstall the factory hardware.
