8. Carefully align the lower mesh section & surround(once the protective liner around the screw holesare pulled back) into the bumper opening and usemasking tape to hold it in place during the follow-ing installation procedure.

9. Use a 1/16” drill bit to drill through the centers of the existing holes and through the factory lowergrille.

10. Install the supplied #6 x 1-1/2” torx pin headscrews into the holes drilled in the previous step.DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN or you will strip out themounting holes.

11. Cut out the supplied hole location template andalign it over the upper factory grille. Tape the template into place and use an awl or similar pointedtool to mark all hole locations. Untape the template, flip it over, tape and mark the holes on the

opposite side.

12. Use a 1/8” drill bit to drill a pilot hole through themarks made in the previous step.

13. Enlarge the mounting holes to 5/16” from thereverse side of the grille. This will prevent damag-ing the factory grille surround.

7. Apply several layers of masking tape to the top,bottom and sides of the lower grille surround toprotect the finish.
