These guidelines are for the safety of all members, guests & staff. We will continue to keep our membership and new program patrons safe by:

FACILITY GUIDELINES PROGRAM SAFETY

Social DistancingPractice social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet apart.

Aquatics• Limiting swim lesson numbers to a more controlled instructor to student ratio.• Allowing only one parent/guardian into the facility with each participant during our lessons, levels 1-3 parents will he asked to be hands on during the lessons. • Swim lessons instructors will be conducting contactless instruction while wearing face shields for added protection. • No spectators are allowed during swim team practices and ratios are with a phased swimmer:lane ratio. • Swim team entry and exit through the facility has been designed to avoid cross traffic wherever possible. • Aquatic programs are asked to wear mask until in the water or stretching. • Rentable items at Lake Andrea are sanitized between each use by an EPA approved cleaner with a virus kill contact time of less than 30 seconds. • All aquatic programs follow a written safety plan. • Lake Andrea staff wears mask face coverings whenever a six foot distance can not be maintained. • Lake Andrea rental area has been moved to avoid cross traffic with non renting beach patrons.

Childcare/Youth• Curbside pick-up and drop off (including temperature checks) • Small groups with staff remaining the same• All staff wearing masks• Increased frequencies for cleaning/sanitizing

Fitness• Limited capacity in classes• Social distancing in classes• Participants will not be sharing equipment• Time built in at the end of class for participants to wipe down equipment

Ice• Pre-registration required for all programming for the duration of the summer• Curbside pick-up and drop off for all participants• Not allowing program spectators for summer• We are enforcing social distancing during all programs

Sports• No competitive play in the fieldhouse• Smaller class sizes • Participants may bring their own equipment• Cleaning shared equipment after each session• Social Distancing during programs as much as possible

Therapeutic Recreation • Curbside pick-up and drop off including temperature checks for campers and staff• Small camper groups of 10 or less with staff • Small groups with staff will remaining the same• All staff are wearing masks

Increased CleaningWe are working hard to continuously clean and disinfect throughout the day. Especially high traffic areas.

Timely VisitsLimit your gym visit to 1 hour.

Hand WashingWash hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Face CoveringsThough not mandatory, members are encouraged to wear face coverings, employees are required to wear them.

Hand SanitizerAvailable throughout the facility for your use.

As a condition of my participation or my child’s participation in the RecPlex programs, I accept any risk of infection from COVID-19. I specifically release and hold harmless the Village of Pleasant Prairie RecPlex from any losses, damages, or personal injury to myself, my child, or my household from participation in any RecPlex programming.

LATE REGISTRATIONBecause of fixed costs associated with running programs, classes & activities, late registrants will be charged the total fees for a class. No prorating of fees will take place.

PROGRAM REGISTRATION POLICIESRecPlex members have the first opportunity to register for classes & programs. Classes & programs are open to the general public. Members receive priority registration & reduced rates. Non-members cannot use locker room facilities.

RECPLEX MEMBER PARKING LOTA hang tag with a radio frequency chip may be purchased for entry to the member lot. This permit is good for the lifetime of your membership and may be moved to any vehicle. The cost is $30. Please not this is an option and free parking is available along Terwall Terrace, Park & Ride and Ball Field parking lots. RecPlex Buyback Program - $10 for parking hang tags that are returned in good working order.
