LEGO Summer Creativity Workshop by R – KidsIn this holiday program, children are encouraged to use different educational tools, to design and create their whole little world based on different themes. This is not only to bring their creativity into full play, but also an opportunity for them to get in touch with mechanical knowledge.

Building & Structure, Age 3-5Children will learn basic mechanical principles such as gears, levers, pulleys, wheels and axles. They explore by building towers, arches, structures and bridges while solving problems and accomplishing design challenges. These activities involve children in designing cooperatively and building around a fun theme. This program helps children to explore the philosophies behind different types of technology and learn about scientific principles. Mechanism in Motion, Age 6-12Children build structures and simple machines. They experiment with the functions of motors, gears, levers and pulleys. They investigate the effects of friction and gravity on speed.

Children learn to understand how a variety of components work together to create fully functional models. This program is based on real-life examples of simple mechanisms. Once they have grasped the basics, children can design and develop their own solutions.
