• During construction, there will be no parking:

° In the construction area along Yesler Way between 3rd Ave and midway between 5th Ave and 6th Ave

° Along Terrace St from the alley to Yesler Way

° Beneath the bridge on 4th Ave

° In the east curb lane of 5th Ave between Washington and Terrace St

° On the west side of 6th Ave immediately south of Yesler Way

° On the north side of Main St immediately west of 6th Ave

• After construction: ° Parking will no longer be

allowed on the bridge ° A few parking spaces will be

removed on both Yesler Way and Terrace St immediately adjacent to the bridge

° Parking will no longer be allowed on the east side of 4th Ave between S Washington and Jefferson Streets

° Parking will no longer be allowed in the east curb lane of 5th Ave between S Washington and Terrace St

Existing contraflow lane for transit on 5th Ave south of Cherry St

Seattle City Light utility relocation• Electric utility lines that supply the Yesler Building (400 Yesler

Way) will be relocated before construction begins • The new lines will run beneath 5th Ave and Yesler Way, up the

Yesler Way Bridge’s west abutment wall, and then westward along Yesler Way to the Yesler Building

• Relocation work will begin in summer 2015 and is expected to last for 6 months

5th Ave transit contraflow lane• A contraflow lane allows transit to travel in the opposite direction

of adjacent lanes to improve connectivity and travel times• SDOT plans to extend the 5th Ave contraflow lane from Terrace St

south to Washington St• Work is planned for September 2015
