The soness and the suggestion o ow was the aim or this exploration basedon the toothpaste. One o the aws orthis was that it was unlike the originalintention and my toothpaste appear tobe sharp and dangerous.




PROCESS

In Illustrator, I began orming the rstletters o my typeace. As mentionedearlier, I am attempting the Ramadan-inspired onts using the crescent moonas the linchpin. I elt that the presence o the round shapes and in bold is evidentin this exploration.

More experimentations with the crescentmoon,with adjustments and variations leading to the inal poster .




I reverted to working on caps because I eltit had more potential in comparison to thelowercase ones. I placed the list o Gill Sans onts at the bottom o the document just tomake sure I am in the correct direction in theconstruction o the uppercase letters. Thereare more o the bladelike shapes and someo the crescents are distorted make the setmore uniied. I made the bladelike shapesshorter and thicker in comparison with theprevious experimentation to make it appearmore heavier.
