ENHANCE. - Start-up Watch Company

April 2012 – September 2012

I recently worked with ENHANCE. a watch start up company as the Branding & Marketing Officer. My responsibilities lay in creating the brand. The main selling point we focused on, was colour. Each colour would ENHANCE. different aspects of our consumers’ lives. I established, managed and art directed the website content, in particular product and online catalogue shots. I was also in charge of collaborating with freelancers to design our website, logo & business cards.

The Suits Communications – Advertising November 2011 – April 2012–

March I worked as the Media & Digital Strategist for a start-up advertising company based in Cape Town, South Africa. I established, managed & monitored all online platforms and interactivity. I also established and wrote the company blog: www.thesuitscommunications.tumblr.com. I partook in pitches and brainstorms for accounts such as Lipton Ice Tea, Jay Jays and Die Burger. I was also a PA on shoots such as Jay Jays’ First Kiss Campain 2012. I also managed online platforms for clients such as Arrowwood International and NB Publishers.

Student Events – Online Start-up

March 2011 – August 2011

I worked as the Marketing, PR & Content Manager for an online student start up in Rotterdam that organized competitions, conferences and courses to facilitate companies in attracting new talent in an interactive way. As the content manager, I managed seven people and delegated weekly goals, and writing of search engine optimization (SEO) articles. My responsibilities as the Marketing & PR Manager were to establish and maintain all online platforms, develop an on-ground PR & guerilla-marketing scheme with my team, and phone Universities in the USA and UK to use our new online application we called a ‘Widget’ for their career page websites
