My Eng ProjectBy Kelly Vu

Period 11/8/12

PointsAs you can see on the top right hand corner you can see a circular map which has points on it. Those points tell where your team are at. For example, like measuring distances, especially between 2 soliders, some soldiers are quitely more than inches across/away from each other.

Parallels LinesParallels lines are when the lines never meet, always the same distance apart from each other. As you can see the wire bar lines on top of the wall. Those lines can be known as parallels lines because they will never intersect.

Perpendicular LinesThis is one of my screenshot that I took months ago. When I was strolling thru screenshots I happened to notice there were perpendicular lines on it, just below the Regular Match, as you can see the perpendicular create a 90 degree angle separating the Kills, and the Deaths.

Congruence and Right AnglesWhile I was spectating their game plays in the game CrossFire. I notice the bottom floor which is in the shape of a box are congruent to each other, and you can also see that the boxes forms a right angle which are 90 degree angles.

More Parallel Lines in CF

Acute and Obtuse AngelsAs you can see on the crosses behind the soldier. The triangles have 3 angles. The right and left hand triangles are now as a acute angle because it is less than 90 degrees angles, but on the top triangle it’s an obtuse angle because it is more than 90 degree, but less than 180 degree.

Corresponding Angles and Consecutive Interior AnglesI happened to found this picture on Google. This picture shows that 1 and 5 are corresponding angles, such as 2 and 6, 4 and 8, and 3 and 7. Corresponding angles are two congruent angles that lies on the transversal. Angles 4 and 5, and 3 and 6 are Consecutive angles end up in a line segment in a polygon.

Alternate Exterior and Alternate Interior AnglesAngle 1 and 7 or 2 and 8 are alternate exterior angles since they’re on the outside, and angle 4 and 6 or 3 and 5 are Alternate Interior angles, because they’re on the INside.

Adjacent Here’s another picture I found on Google, it’s a game called MineCraft. If you’re wondering this game is known for building. In this picture you can see the two cobblestone blocks in front of him are adjacent because they are next to each other.

Angle BisectorThis picture shows that the angles are angle bisector, because it cuts by the transversal. So the angle are exactly in half, making two equal angles.

AltitudeThis picture is also found in Google. This picture shows that it’s an Altitude’s triangle is a line segment connecting to a vertex which the line containing the opposite side and perpendicular to that side.

That’s pretty much it for my project, hope you guys enjoyed it!
