His celebrated landscape images draw their inspiration and take their lead from the writings, journals, and illustrations of many of these important early naturalists. Signs and Wonders is concerned with the relationship between people and their environment. They examine the visual evidence present in the landscape of our cultural priorities and history and expand upon the standard landscape vocabulary to build a complex language of layers, networks and connections in the landscape. His eloquent black and white prints resonate with a precision and draftsmanship that belies the teeming energy and vitality present in the hidden details of a location. Free admission. The Southeast Museum of Photography has expanded with a new exhibition space at the Lyonia Environmental Center in Deltona, Florida. The museum is pleased to present an array of memorable photographs selected from the many beautiful images of the natural environment of central Florida that have been captured by members of the Orlando Camera Club. The photographs here include a small but impressive selection that gives a special emphasis to some stunning images of the bird life in Florida.
