How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

One of the most obvious trends though out the poster, magazine cover and trailer is the main

character. The female victim is the main character and has a key role in the trailer and the image of the poster and magazine cover. In the magazine and poster she is at the front of the frame and obvious a key part of the story and brand of each product. In the trailer the female victim has a large majority of screen time, whereas the male character is kept out of shot for most of the trailer. This keeps in theme with the poster and magazine cover

because she is the main subject of the brand.

STAR IMAGE

For the title of our film we used the font InaiMathi. To make the title stand out and

have a bigger impact we increased the distance between each letter. We used the same font throughout the poster, trailer and magazine cover. This increases the

recognisability of our film and the brand in general. The title for the magazine cover

was bolder than the other advertising forms because it needed to stand out from

a crowed front cover.

TITLE FONT

A key feature of our brand is a dark theme. This can be seen in the costume of the male character

in the trailer and the magazine cover. His costume connotes the dark nature of his

character and what he is doing. Whereas the female character is in brighter clothing which

connotes her innocence in this plot. This can be seen in the trailer, poster and magazine cover.

However, we changed the hair colour of the female character in the poster and magazine

cover to show more contrast. This was necessary to make the poster and magazine cover more

appealing to the eye.
