Join Me to Fight for Stricter Laws!

In this past year our General Assembly introduced several bills related to distracted driving, all did not pass.

A Virginia Senate bill to place harsher consequences on teenage drivers was struck down, The bill, SB 139, sought to change talking on a cell phone from a secondary offense to a primary offense for drivers under 18.

Fines for talking on cell phones could have risen by about $100
