Attention Strike

R elationships are not easy and I don’t think anyone will have ever said they are. Within a relationship there is a level of trust, commitment, loyalty and respect. It’s not all passion and a constant flow of connection. Certainly for most that ideology that you are ‘soul mates’ may not exist, not because you’re not in love but because a relationship doesn’t have to be based around a fantasy and world inside a bubble. Of course you can act upon what you do as a couple and pick destinations which will thrive your experiences and create a lifestyle of happiness. But in the long run this is not substantial or healthy.

Trying to carry out an image of a ‘perfect’ relationship would be deceiving yourselves. As a couple it is unlikely you will not ever have an argument, disagree or have issues. Relationships take time and grow as time goes on, continuing to flourish even after the first hit of romance may fade.

A large factor in a relationship is the physical. One problem which a lot of couple’s face is at one stage in the relationship feeling slightly disconnected and losing the spark. There are many reasons why this feeling of reluctance towards each other stands. one being far too comfortable together, being used to seeing the same body and face daily, leading to not being excited causing you to be lazy.

Another is being a comparison to a figure of explicit imagery, one which doesn’t portray a daily reality, This leads to a small feeling of disappointment that is hard to ignore and to not acknowledge as it surrounds us largely in this century; social media such as Instagram being a large one.The base of the problem leads back to how couples lack an element of surprise within their relationship. When really the individual only needs to surprise themselves in order to spice it up!

My veins are open to the cure you give me, a constant urge for that first injection, the touch which made my vision freeze and my brain ice over, paralysed.The sense of thrill has reached my heart and the intensity on my chest has burst into flames. Steps which were once an adventure are now a journey. One which is taken with another mind to a thought. New breaths of light give a sense of passion and an ecstasy sensation is felt from the rush of the culture and inability to remember the atmosphere of another.

The architecture of the buildings was nearly defined as his torso and the cobbled streets lead a way which his finger did once down my back. My eyes were now open to this perceived place known as a country filled with romance. My mind was chasing that fly which won’t leave, going crazy with adrenaline. Not becauseof the destination but because we were here as one.

But an ash dark clouded sky can quickly smother the buildings that the path we take is between. Smothering me and powering that unpredictable emotion. The hormone which causes all organs to fail. Providing no strength and no assistance. But killing that strong desire for a short time all down to one collapse of miss communication.

That feeling of desire can instantly be taken, and the resting of salt being trapped in the lines of those broken, cracked lips can suddenly be felt. That craving of taste can be turned sour as the cat’s medicine poisons over time.

The glaze of abonnement and betrayal seen in his eye as the ‘perfect’ experience crumbles at his feet. That feeling of desire is still there but deluded by the fantasy that a perfect romantic destination could repel any curse.

A once perfect romantic location is now a destination of crumbling memories.

The good memories will still be entrapped in that square of pixilation; being shared to the billions of electric lights across the world, reflecting a false reality but one others want to believe.

Looking back to the first injection it could have been felt in any shape on the sphere, all the pressure forcing the travel, pulling a train on breaks by chains down a track is not needed.

I know all the secrets, remedies, small touches and hold that small infinite key that all desire. What makes a wedding day? Is it the theme of white flourishing, setting the tone for that singular moment, giving a sense of purity and beauty, or is it the growing, crisp and timeless flowers, suggesting an everlasting strength between two people?

That one day nothing can deflect. Rain may come but the sound will be echoed as a beautiful patter on the cobbles outside. Making the inside rooms feel filled with warmth and tenderness, bringing everyone together reflecting a true sense of comfort.

In opposition the air is filled with the brightest sky, shining down illuminating the venue, highlighting the most exquisite other of that day. Beauty will be seen all around as emotions are rippling through the bride and groom, filling the venue and the day with a connection so strong that the real importance is shown. The value which one is to each other.

It opens up the heart of the groom, which needs some nourishment and assistance. This is the key that all parents of the couple need, the one which opens up the realisation that their little bird has finally left the nest.

There is nothing worse than being piled in a room with a thousand bodies. Invitations are a form of expressed feelings inked in a bed of sheets, sealed with heartfelt

wax to create an official stamp on the event and in people’s minds. Only invite those whose presence has a special meaning, don’t ever invite just to increase the number of bodies in a space. Spend wisely when planning a wedding; it’s like placing a bet at horse races and the money being pulled away as quick as the jockey. Place the deepest consideration into the cost per head, as it is easily the most expensive part of planning. The more aware of this you are the easier it will be!

Having worked so hard on something so special, something which wipes that resting bitch look off my face. Something which pulls that secretive string and forms a smile. Gleaming bright as a crescent moon on a dark winter night.

It makes me wonder how can such a strong electric sting hit me so powerfully but gave me a deathly shock that’s perceived as a good pain. Is it a trigger of false hope or a spray of mist protecting the red pulse which flourishes inside me?

Recently it has come to question, can distance be explosive to it?

Is it impossible to carry out an electric circuit when the wire that blinds crosses the seas? Having parted with the connection of skin on skin, having that warming comfort blanket taken away.

Standing alone in that room where the cold breeze makes my spine shiver. Feeling so strongly for another human it makes me want them to feel the explosion of particles in a positive reaction, flourishing bodies filled with happiness. But what is that happiness means crushing my own soul. Is it worth it?

Every single person is different to one another, some individuals have a natural instinct for putting others first. Another species thinks more of themselves striving to be the king of that jungle. Some are alone. Some enjoy their own company. I have always been one who enjoys the image of evolving from my own ideas. Following my desires and specifically following that gut pounding pushing from my stomach.
