She will be recover- ing at home. Please continue prayers for Jim Andrews. His pain is severe. Lonna Beth Slack is at The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek for rehab. Phil Siler was discharged from the hospital to James River Care for rehab. Larry and Tana Snyder’s son, Brett Snyder, saw his surgeon Friday regard- ing the removal of his kidney. Brian W. Brown asks for prayers for his wife, Valerie, that the Lord will pro- vide what she needs and give her strength. Amy VanGorden had a flare-up with her MS and hasn’t been able to walk for a few days. She will start outpatient IV steroids either this weekend or next week. Prayers are requested. Jackie Barlow is in Mercy Rm 6168. Funeral arrangements are pending. To Shelia and Jack Taylor on the loss of Doran Livingston, Shelia’s father. Funeral services were held Friday. One of the most excit- ing announcements they shared with us was the official welcome of Phillip, Alayna, and Addy to our family here at Sunset. We feel so blessed to have Phillip as part of our ministry team. Please keep this family in your prayers as we anticipate their arrival with us on a full-time basis in May. There will be at three Sundays in the month of February when our auditorium will be undergoing renovations. We ask for your patience and understanding as we worship together in the fellowship hall. We are then anticipating a won- derful Sunday March 3 rd as we gather in our new auditorium and worship to- gether, celebrating the great and many ways God has blessed our family. 2019 Thin-Ice Retreat – mark your cal-endars for February 22-24th. This is the YOUTH RETREAT OF THE YEAR!!! We will be traveling to Hasty, AR to meet up with our interns from Harding. The weekend will include team chal-

lenges, games, youth led Bible study and discussions, quiet time and plenty of good food and fellowship. Don’t miss this retreat!!

Y.O.U. in Conway, AR – Jan 25-27th – I hope your excite-ment is building for Y.O.U.! I’ve sent out a formal list of items to bring, so check your email or grab a handout from the Youth Board. Expect the usual for crashing on a floor for a couple days. This is going to be a lot of fun and I’m excited for all the way’s that we’ll be challenged in how we think, live and share our faith.
