May God be glorified through our time of prayer and worship. May God bless us as a body of believers as we unite to lift your voices in praise to him. As on any Lord’s Day, let’s be sure to focus on our Savior as we also take time to connect and encourage one another. The holidays can be a joyous time for many, but be mindful that some are lonely and hurting. May kindness and love inspire you to seek out and en- courage those who come to mind. Pray for them, serve them and care for them. Then, may we give glory to God for the good things he’s taught us. In the days leading up to Christmas, five Parkview families were the recipi- ents of your gifts and thoughtfulness. Many of you donated time, bought gifts, wrapped gifts, boxed food or made deliveries. The gifts were wonder- fully wrapped and the families were so thankful to have their cupboards filled with the large boxes of food. Thank you for providing so many essen- tials and helping these families have a blessed Christmas. In another day, 2019 will be here and as a congregation it could not be more exciting. Please be praying as our theme, “Replanting Sunset: Grow- ing Together” gets up and going. There will be many opportunities for each of us to learn and grow. I hope you’re getting excited about the possibilities for your family as we focus on having a wonderful, blessed year together! Thank you for being here today. I hope and pray you’ll be encouraged for the week ahead.
