Joe

Welcome to Sunset on this winter’s weekend! It is good to be able to gather in a warm, comfortable facility like the one we have been blessed with to worship our God. If you are guest with us today, you are most welcome!

Thanks to all of you who have helped with the holiday baskets! Many of you contributed goodies and some of you weathered the storm to help put these beautiful baskets together. The lives of many of our shut-ins will be blessed as we deliver these tokens of our love and affection to our family members who are not always able to attend services.

We are often asked to pray for one another. Last Sunday Ken Stewart came asking for forgiveness and strength for the days to come. Praying for one another is one way in which we demonstrate our love. I like this definition I recently came across: “The love of our neighbor in all its fullness simply means being able to say . . .’What are you going through?’”. Keep Ken in your prayers.

Have a wonderful week . . .
