The fight that caused controversy in the world drew attention to a very important topic: domestic violence.
Domestic violence is a huge problem in Brazil with a female falling victim to it every 90 minutes at the hands of a male perpetrator.
Yet people don’t talk about it or report it so the MMA in Brazil teamed up with Disque Denúncia to ensure people had no choice but to talk about the ‘Mixed Gender Fight’ due to take place.
