F CTV is always researching and acquiring new equipment that

helps our members enhance their skills in gathering video and sound in the field. We recently purchased several Genaray LED-7100T 312 LED Variable-Color On-Camera Lights. What makes these camera mounted lights so useful is they are very portable, lightweight, battery-powered and can dial back the lighting intensity with a simple turn of a knob. The color temperature output is also variable from a cool 5600K (outdoor lighting temperature)

to a warm 3200K (indoor lighting temperature) by a smooth-tuning dial on the back. A magnetic diffuser easily snaps onto the front to soften the light output and significantly reduce contrast between different areas of your subject. These lights are perfect for conducting interviews at a rally, sporting event, or other location where added lighting is needed. Want to know more? Just ask one of FCTV’s staff to give a demonstration of the new lights, then try them yourself on your next project!
