Pete was born to Peter andRosie Arrossa on January 16,1945inWendell,Idaho.Hewastheoldestofthreechildren.Hegrew up on a family dairy andsheep farm north of ShoshonewhereheworkedlonghourswithhisbrotherGeorgeandsisterGinacaringforcattleandsheep. Pete attended Shoshone High School where he was astarathleteholdingschoolrecordsinbothbasketballandfootball.Hegraduatedin1963andattendedIdahoStateUniversity.UponreturninghometoShoshone,hebeganworkingfortheBLMontheFireCrew.Duringthistime,healsoworkedforLieutenantGovernor,JackMurphyonhiscattleranch,wherePetedevelopedhiscowboyskillsandapassionforhorses.Pete’scareerwiththeBureauofLandManagement,spannedforover40years.Duringthistime,Peteworkedwithmanyamazinglifelongfriends.
