Creative Director- BaharHer guiding principle is the notion that joy must be allowed to pervade every sector of the work. By utilizing the ‘correct’ methodology she has figured real life and practical solutions for a enjoyable and comfortable hostel stay.

Bahar has backpacked through Europe and Asia in the past year and a half. She has resided in many hostels that was possible. She has coach surfed and she has also experienced a bed and breakfast as well as a luxurious hotel. Bahar has the perfect idea of what makes an enjoyable stay during one’s travel journey.

Though an architect and designer of international standing and experience, Bahar forms localized responses in her work which extend beyond the project site to inclde the canvas of street and town, users and history.

Bahar’s design brief grows organically from debate and experiment, and offers spontaneous resolutions which materialize into unique structures.

BUNK designs are implicitly environmentally responsive with low energy service systems. Bahar is always open to new ideas and new creative members to join her group. She’s a practicing interior designer for the past 8 years with a BA from ryerson and MA of Arch. from U of T.
