Archiving your email messages to your “H drive” folder will help insure against loosing important messages form your Microsoft Outlook. 

To Archive your messages, first go to File and select “Archive” from the drop down. 

Next in the popup box, select the folder you want to archive

Next select a date from the calendar drop down and now messages older than the selected date will be archived. 

Once the date has been selected, now click on the browse button, and select the path to your folder on the H drive, and name it Archive.

Then click OK in this window to set up the folder 

Now you will see a new folder is setup as Archive

Now you can open your saved messages by expanding the Archive folder and selecting the inbox. Here is where you can access these messages. 

Now that the Archive folder is set, you can also drag messages to your Archive folders and drop them in to be saved. You can also right click on a message and select the “move to” option to move a message to an Archived folder.

Choose the destination folder and select OK.
