My parents named me Alexandria Daniels. They named me after my Great Grandmother, Alexandria Clair. I have bright blue eyes , and dark brown hair. I am the youngest.

My fathers name is James and he woks at our farm. He milks the cows, feeds the chickens , and harvests the crops. My mothers name is Addie and she works around the house. She cleans and makes dinner every night. My sisters Megan, Abigail ,and I usually help my mom around the house and Seth my brother helps my dad. My sister Megan is 14 and my other sister Abigail is 12 and Seth is 11.

We live in a log cabin near a village. There are three beds and three rooms. It is kind of small but it will have to do for now. My sister Abigail and I share a bed, And Seth and Megan share a bed, and my mom and dad share a bed.

I do not have very many clothes. My mother makes all of my clothes. Most of my clothes are from animals skin that my dad hunts. The others are material from the store. They are very colorful.

My father does all kinds of things , like build cabins, work in the barn with the farm animals and many other things. But he is usually out on the farm. That is his favorite thing to do. He uses tools like a hoe, and a saw and , a hammer.

My mother just works around the house. She washes dishes, dusts, and makes dinner every night. When she washes dishes she uses lots of soap and water. When she dusts she makes sure the tables are completely clean. My mothers favorite thing to do is make dinner. She makes dinner every day. Her meals always taste very good.

Every morning my mom leaves a list of chores on the kitchen table. I don’t really like doing my chores, but if I don’t do them I will get in trouble. Some of my chores are washing the dishes that I use, picking food from our garden, and getting some of the eggs that the chickens laid. Then when I am all done with my chores I get to play with my toys.

I love to play games. On one game you have to put the ball on the top of the stick without touching it with your hands. Its called ball and cup and it is my favorite game. There is also a board game but not very many kids like to play it because its not very fun.

Then when I am done playing with my toys I get to eat an amazing dinner. We eat beans and rice and my favorite cornbread with lemons. Many times we have meat from cows and sometimes we have chicken from chickens and my moms favorite hamburger meat with vegetables. For breakfast we usually have meat and cheese wrapped in a taco shell with vegetables in it. For snacks we just have lemons.

When I go to school we use a hornbook a chalk board and a pad of paper. I have a lot of fifth graders in my class. We have to wear school uniforms. No one likes wearing them but we have to were them. My teachers name is Mrs. Hume. She is very nice. During class if she does not give us any homework then we get to draw on the chalk board. My school is called Blackwood Elementary School. It is very small.

When I get punished I get whipped with a paddle. The paddle is long with a hole in it. My father takes me to the outhouse and whips me with it. I have only gotten whipped with it once and that was for not doing my chores.

When people were sick we had to make medicine for them. Even though the medicine did not taste so good you still had to take it because it would heal you. I have never got sick but my mom and my sister Abigail have.

I go to church all the time with my family, and I have and never will miss a day of it. Sometimes the kids get to go outside and play when it is warm outside. Every day we read out of the bible. There is a lot of information that you can remember when you get older. I love going to church.

There are many laws that you can break so you better watch out. I have seen someone break a law before and they got in big trouble. I have never broke a law before.
