The Brief 1. Max Gregory OUGD203 YCN collaboration Fedrigoni Fedrigoni’s ‘Imaginative Colours’ launched in October 2011. The challenge was to create a campaign that would ensure the entire UK design industry heard about the Imaginative Colours paper selection tool, and was inspired to use Fedrigoni paper on their very next project. Our solution was to create a promotional booklet for both the selection tool and for Fedrigoni themselves that could be mailed out to design agencies and creatives within the UK informing them of the benefits provided by the Imaginative Colours paper selection tool. This would be sent in a pack along with a promotional gift targeted at designers working within studios and creative environments. THE CHALLENGE OUR SOLUTION

Fedrigoni’s ‘Imaginative Colours’ launched in October 2011.

The majority of my input in this brief was on the layout and design of the main part of our mail out pack, the sample book. Matt gave me a basic idea of what he had found and liked from his research and I then went and tried to apply it in layouts that remained informative and easy to navigate.

01. 02. Number one shows the front cover, two diving spreads, which fit into the book acting like tabs, and two informative spreads. All of which I laid out with content and input at some points from Matt. The informative page always fell on the left hand page so I removed the right hand one in order to save space.

Two shows the finished and printed book in use. The bottom image shows how the coloured pages fit into the sample book and act as title pages or tabs to get to where you want to in the book. It also shows a portion of one of the information pages placed throughout the back section of the publication.

Although not a particularly accomplished photographer, with Matt on hand I decided to take the product shots. We were both very pleased with the outcome on the whole so I felt I needed to do it justice with the photos. I am pleased with the end result and think although some shots weren’t great, there are some really professional ones in there too.
