PARADISE FOR CHILDREN – CHILDREN’S PROGRAMME The area around St. Anton am Arlberg offers even the youngest visitors much to discover and enjoy. Every weekday has a different theme and offers varied adventures in the midst of nature. Please bring sturdy shoes, rainwear and sufficient food. We provide children with lunch, for a fee of € 7.00.

The children are picked up at the respective meeting point with the “children’s taxi" from St. Anton am Arlberg or Pettneu am Arlberg and brought back again at 16:00 hrs.

REGISTER FOR THE WEEKLY PROGRAMME For organisational reasons, we kindly ask you to register in advance for all weekly programme activities. You can register either with your accommodation provider, at the tourist offices or online via the www.sommerkarte.at homepage. Simply select the desired activity, log in using the number on your Summer Card and register.

The registration deadline for all activities is 18.00 hrs on the day before your proposed activity (e-bike

rental 17.00 hrs). If, for any reason, you are unable to participate in the selected activity, we kindly ask you to make sure you cancel your registration before the registration deadline, otherwise the service will be deducted from your card.

We would like to point out that we have only a limited number of guides at our disposal, who in turn can only look after a limited number of people. Please note the maximum number of participants (see at www.sommerkarte.at).

Sunrise hike including mountain breakfast at Ganatschalm in Schnann

Rise and shine before sunrise - it's worth it! We take a taxi to Ganatschalm, from where we walk towards Mösli and back again. If you feel like it, you can walk back down to Flirsch or Schnann after your delicious breakfast at Ganatschalm (walking time approx. 2 hours).

Please note: The taxi picks you up from outside St. Anton am Arlberg and Flirsch tourist information offices!

Rise and shine before sunrise - it's worth it! We walk up to Gampen and after your delicious breakfast at the top, we walk back to St. Anton am Arlberg.

Guided “Wadl” hike in St. Anton am Arlberg

This hike takes you up to the “Rodelalm” or “Sennhütte”, where you have the opportunity to stop for a short break and return from there.


Walk by torchlight in St. Anton am Arlberg

Equipped with torches, we set off together with a hiking guide to explore the region in the dark.

Guided flower and chive walk in St. Anton am Arlberg

Follow the Arlenweg Trail with views of the Lechtal Alps up to Gampen through the unspoilt, romantic Mühltobelschlucht Gorge. Along the route of the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2001, the hike leads back over the Rodelalm, where you can stop for refreshments via the Sonnenweg Trail.


Guided hike to Nessleralm in Pettneu am Arlberg (every 2nd week)

This hike leads through forest and blooming mountain meadows, past the Egghaus (an old farm with a wonderful view of the valley) to the Nessleralm at 1,600 m.

Guided hike to Malfonalm in Pettneu am Arlberg (every 2nd week)

Hike to Malfonalm at 1,687 m along a forest trail next to the rushing waters of Malfonbach Stream. Take the same route for the return walk.

Guided hike to the Rossfallalm in St. Anton am Arlberg

From the meeting point at the tourist office, take the Rendlbahn cable car to the top station and hike along the Riffl Höhenweg Trail, with views from Lake Kartellsee to the Rossfallalm.

Hiker’s Taxi to Mösli in Flirsch

A journey through historic landscapes - the scenic diversity of Mösli with its moors and streams is unique! Take the taxi to Ganatschalm, from where you walk towards Mösli and back again. If you feel like it, you can walk back down to Flirsch or Schnann (walking time approx. 2 hours).

Guided hike to the Tritschalm in St. Anton am Arlberg (every 2nd week)

Follow the Moostalweg Trail, a pleasant mountain forest path, to reach the picturesque Moostal Valley and hike alongside Moostalbach Stream on a forest path to the Tritschalm at 1,725 m.


Guided hike to the Putzenalm in St. Anton am Arlberg (every 2nd week)

Walk from St. Anton am Arlberg with your mountain guide along a forest path, past Schönbach Stream and through the forest to Putzenalm at 1.726 m.


Guided hike to the Fritzhütte in Flirsch

This hike leads initially through a pine forest, later steeply through rugged terrain up to the Fritz Hut at 1.727 m. Return via the same path or via Schnanner Gorge.

Please note: You will need turdy footwear (hiking boots) and be sure-of-foot!


Guided hike to Sattelkopf in St. Anton am Arlberg

Our guides will take you through the forest to Sattelkopf Peak at 1,987 m above sea level, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the entire region. Please bring your own drinks and snacks!


Guided hike along the mountain forest trail in Flirsch

Follow the forest trail alongside the mountain forest and over winding paths, which take you up to the rugged Schnanner Gorge and back into the valley. Return to Flirsch on a wider footpath.






„Mutspuren - feel the courage“ - guided round walk on Mount Galzig in St. Anton

am Arlberg

After an ascent with the Galzigbahn cable car, you hike in the footsteps of the Arlberg pioneers. You will hear numerous stories and anecdotes from our experienced hiking guides along the way from the top station of Galzigbahn cable car to the Arlensattel reservoir and back.

We are hiking from St. Anton am Arlberg over the historical way to St. Jakob am Arlberg. There we will visit de mining experience Gand. Afterwards we will hike back to St. Anton.
