jects with the help of justa few friends.

In 1990, after losingthe Dutch Door to a firethe previous winter, theybecame recognized as tal-ented builders as the newDutch Door Tavern build-

ing took shape. Wald-mann Construction soonhired several full-timeemployees and beganbuilding homes.

The business grew, asdid the firm’s reputation.With Brad Waldmann’sdesign skills, manyhomes became uniquestatements to the owners’individual preferences.

“Clients knew theycould count on him tocomplete their project ontime and within budget,”said Judy Waldmann.

In 1993, Waldmann

Construction became in-

corporated and added therest of its current in-house trades, which in-clude excavation, con-crete, custom cabinetry,drywall and painting.

In addition to homes,Waldmann Constructionhas built many recogniz-able commercial build-ings including fire sta-tions in St. Germain,

Eagle River, Three Lakesand Newbold, and theFirst National Bankbuildings in St. Germainand Three Lakes.

The green building in-dustry is growing byleaps and bounds,despitethe recent downturn inthe economy, with Wald-mann building seven En-ergy Star-certified homesover the past two years.

Wisconsin,” explainedBrad Waldmann.

In the last 25 years,Waldmann Constructionhas grown to its currentstatus of up to 45 highlytrained individuals.

Administration/UW System conducted anonymous indepen-dent surveys of pizza customers of the 11 major pizza res-taurants in the Eagle River area. The survey considered qual-ity of food, cleanliness, service and atmosphere. Alexander’sFamily Pizza was rated #1!
