Manaus thrives on exports from the Amazon Region. Especially rubber and one of my favorite nuts the “Brazil nut”. Amazon's forest has some unique plant species like Brazil nuts, which are found nowhere else on the planet earth. The Brazil Nut trees are thought to have a life span of 500-700 years.

Today a group of use went hiking through the Amazon Jungle with our tour guild Rodrigo. We saw some awesome animals and flora.
