Synopsis. Possessing a meritorious service of 15 years in NationalHydrographic Department,

Indian Navy, as a Senior Hydrographic Surveyor from year 1986 to 2001.During my tenure in Indian

Navy, onboard survey vessels, actively participated/involved both as a Survey Recorder and Chief

Survey Recorder, in various hydrographic/oceanographic surveys according to the Hydrographic

Instructions (HI) awarded by the National Hydrographic Office (NHO) Dehradun. Carried out duties

of Draughtsman, Navigator’s yeoman, Chief Recorder and Surveyor-in-Charge and carried out

independent coastline surveys, Bathymetric Surveys and Oceanographic Surveys as per the HIs,

promulgated by NHO. Actively participated in the hydrographic survey in Oman, in the year 1991

conducted by INS Jamuna for pipe line laying. Actively involved in imparting training for various

Hydrographic Survey courses, on basics and State-of-the art equipments related to hydrography,

Oceanography, Cartography, Geodesy, Tide, Coastline-survey, fundamentals GPS and various

GNSS Horizontal and vertical positioning systems which include state-of-the art Trimble RTK

DGPS system, Data acquisition software like Hypack,Hydropro,Liscad etc. and post processing

software like Terramodel, Surfer and latest version of AutoCAD. Thereafter, from the year 2002 to

2014worked in different firms in the field of Marine construction & Engineering and Dredging both
